Middle East Technical University Quality Commission was established in accordance with its articles and the definitions contained in the regulation dated 23 july 2015 and published in the Official Gazette No. 29423 Higher Education Quality Assurance Regulation 7th and 8th.

Duties of the Quality Commission;

(a) In line with the University's strategic plan and objectives; education, research-development, assessment of administrative services, establishing quality development system related to the evaluation and quality improvement of administrative services, detecting performance indicators, carry out performance studies to be made in this context in accordance with the procedures and principles established by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council,

(b) Carry out internal evaluation studies, prepare an annual corporate internal evaluation report containing the results of corporate evaluation and quality improvement studies in an integrated structure with the annual performance program and annual report and submit it to the Senate, share approved annual internal evaluation reports on the website,

(c) Making the necessary preparations for the external evaluation process, providing the necessary support to the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council and external evaluator institutions.
